French Teams 2015 – Top 12 – Alas!

Yesterday was just horrible. Instead of a comfortable win, we even lost the match.

The crucial game was the following, when after some 15 moves and around half an hour we were completely winning on board 3:

With such a game it’s almost impossible for the match to go well. Hence we lost 3-2 (with 3 draws) instead of winning with the same result. The worst is that with this match victory we would have practically secured our stay in the Top 12, now with 3 rounds remaining we still need to win 2 matches. Today we play the superteam of Clichy, which means we have to win the last 2 matches, against Metz and Evry. And this is very unlikely…

On the top, it’s more or less smooth sailing for Bischwiller, who are almost certain to win the title.
